I'm putting this achievement under a cut tag, 'cause I don't wanna sound like I'm bragging. Much.

I've just won my third radio contest in a smidgen under fourteen hours. My previous record was a bit over twenty-four hours, and that was before many of the stations lengthened their timeout period between wins. Didn't really think I'd set a new mark, but I've had a dry spell, and there were many contests ripe for the picking.

The prizes I don't want, I'll use to buy brownie points with my customers and vendors at work. This hobby has turned into a not-insignificant income boost :>

Sometimes all the hoops I jump through for this hobby leave me feeling like I'm counting cards at a casino. Other times (and I know this ain't healthy thinking), when I lose a contest I was very close to winning, it feels like somebody took money out of my wallet.

I'm still illogically peeved that I didn't walk off with a year's worth of hot wings earlier this week, because I locked up and couldn't list three movies Montgomery Clift appeared in.

Anyone reading this who wishes to display sympathy will decline to rattle off three such titles in under ten seconds ...which was the response I got from the first two people I told the story to :>
