I've not had a plastic funnel on any other pets, but I have put little lace-up booties on critters that really didn't appreciate the foot protection. The dogs were visibly thinking "Gah! Gaaah! Gah!" everytime their feet touched the floor, walking as on a hot stove, while the cats just stoically endured it, thinking black thoughts about the future of humans after the big kitty mothership arrives.
