Another interview meme...

kightp:
1. Are you making any art these days (outside of work)?
Well, me and
twfarlan are making baby steps towards an online comic, and I've been drawing the occasional thing to take to Rachal in the hospital. Otherwise, not much.
2. During the period when you and Rachal were apart, what kinds of things did you do to keep the marriage strong?
Talked on the phone (a lot) and online (more). In some ways, it made our relationship stronger, because when we *did* see each other, we paid more attention. It was like being on dates again.
3. OK, spill: Tell me a story from your college days that I can use if I ever need to blackmail Reed. (-:
Rachal had to remind me of both of these:
First, the time she and Reed were walking and talking across campus, and the bookbag she was carrying in one hand caught him on the backswing. Right in the jewels. Put him on the ground for at least ten minutes, she sez.
Second, when Reed and I were two of the occupants in a three-person dorm, we were trying to figure out how to run off the third mystery roomate if we didn't like him on arrival. We'd pretty much decided we were gonna pretend to be lovers and hope he was homophobic ... when he showed up, and was already gay.
4. If a genie gives you three wishes, is it cheating to make the last one "three more wishes"? Explicate.
I doubt it. Because the genie would probably just rewind your life to a time previous to your first wish, and leave you in a time-loop till you caught a clue.
5. What do we have to do to get you to visit Oregon again?
A new job would be nice, one with enough money to travel and vacation days to do so. But I'm already keeping my eye out on this end :>
For those who haven't been following along, the rules:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
