In no particular order:

I don't believe the quality of my marriage is improved by denying others the ability to marry anyone they wish.

I believe the chance for the sort of happiness I have with my spouse should not be withheld from any adults, as if it is some commodity to be hoarded. I do not believe that marital bliss is a zero-sum game.

I believe that what I get out of my own marriage is defined by the actions of myself and my spouse, not Britney Spears nor Elizabeth Taylor.

If you don't understand how the committed relationships of homosexuals or polyamorists can make a positive contribution to society, your lack of ability doesn't invalidate the concept. I don't understand the intricacies of nuclear reactors, but my ignorance doesn't prevent them from working.
