Voice work

Anybody know anything about how to get into the business of doing voice work? Working on this audiobook for my father, it's occured to me that I wouldn't mind doing that on the side, and it seems the sort of thing I might be able to do from home with my own equipment.

One way to get some "credits" under your belt before striking out professionally is by volunteering your time to record texts for the blind. Find your closest school for the blind, call them up, and see what they need. Surfing the web about that sort of thing is helpful, too.

Service work like that looks great on ye olde resume!
