Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] twfarlan. Did I say stolen? I mean I'm, uh, paying homage ...yeah, that's the ticket!

THE RULES:

1. I pick 12 of my favorite movies.

2. I pick one of my favorite quotes from each movie.

3. I post those quotes.

4. You all guess from which movie each quote comes.

5. I'll strike out the quote once it has been correctly identified and place the guesser's user name directly after the quote.

6. You get extra bragging rights for knowing the actor or character's name.

#7: For some years now, I've been pretty sure that "Enrico Pallazzo" is the alias that's gonna fall out of my mouth if someone presses me when I'm reluctant to identify myself. Hasn't happened yet. I swear.

I didn't expect #8 to fall this early in the going; I was afraid it might be too ambiguous.

#11: I may have used this line in front of you one too many times :>

Re: #7: Heh. Naked Gun was a favored series of mine for several years. They were movies that my father and I could watch together and both enjoy. Adding in that surreal comedy is still one of my preferred forms and the lines from it just stick.

Re #8: I loved Addams Family, and that line isn't ambiguous if you know that film. It's very quotable, for me at least.

Re: #11: Wasn't your fault. My favorite movie when I was a kid was Ghostbusters. It was the first film I ever went and saw in a theater by myself. When it came out, I was the nerdy science kid, so I identified with Egon rather heavily.

6--The main guy (aren't I specific?) in Jurassic Parkto the kid who was on the chain-link fence when the power came back on...Hey, I just woke up, I'm surprised I can figure any of these things out. I don't do movies much!

Correct!

I think I'll wait a couple of days before I fill in the blanks. My number twelve is from a *really* underwatched film, and I'd expect it to go unanswered completely, if I didn't know at least three people on my reading list that have access to the DVD.

Hehehehehe. Guess I'll be first to call it then, since I have the SIGNED MOVIE POSTER from number 12 still hanging on my wall! It's "The Wizard of Speed and Time", of course! :)
